Today’s Look: Off the Shoulder Top with Denim Faux Suede Loafers

Hey Pigsters! Happy Spring! ๐Ÿ™‚ Where I live I’m still experiencing a little winter weather, but for the most part the weather has been Springalicous! (Teehee! I made up that word) Anyways sorry for not posting in awhile. I’m learning that being a blogger takes a lot of time that you must spare, but this is something I’ve always wanted to do so I’m willing to spare time every chance I can get when I break away from school, work, and other activities.

So as you all know we have finally step into my second favorite season, Spring! Currently what’s been trending a lot for Spring is denim and anything that is off the shoulder. I kind of started my Spring wardrobe early, so I’m already tired of the off the shoulder trend because it’s everywhere! In order for me to buy an off the shoulder anything it definitely has to have a unique flare to it. My outfit for this blog post I decided to wear this unique off the shoulder top that flowed gracefully in the back and consisted of a peasant blouse sleeve which I loved. I paired my top with a lace up white capri pant and denim faux suede loafers from DSW. Not only is denim trending, but loafers are also popular this Spring as well as faux suede material. As far as accessories I wore a denim choker that I layered with a simple gold necklace with a nude cross-body purse and belt.

Please enjoy these images as they were taken by a good friend and photographer, Janice Agosto @jclaira. The images were taken in downtown Norfolk, Virginia by the pier. The photos came out fabulously so I’m showing more than I normally do in a blog post, teehee! ๐Ÿ™‚

Today’s Look: Feeling 70’s Inspired

Hey Pigsters, so excited for my second blog post! (Woohoo! I’m on fire!) Just kidding, I’m trying my best to stay consistent posting my outfits, and since I’m on winter break from school I have a lot of time to post my outfits and keep y’all updated. Anyways today’s look was time traveling back into the 70’s. Today, the 70’s fashion has made itself relevant especially during this past Fall season. Now, I’m not really into rockingย 70’s trends, however I did spot a perfect pair of bell bottom pants from Forever 21 that I ย couldn’t resist to have. The pants were a paisley print which I don’t hardly own and made out of a soft velvet material. In other words these pants were both stylish and comfortable hey! ๐Ÿ™‚ Another great feature about these pants was the way it hugged my body and showed off my curves oooh! ๐Ÿ™‚ I decided to pair these pants with a soft red bodysuit with lace detailing and a deep v-neck cut. What made this bodysuit a 70’s trend was the puffy sleeve and lace detail. Finishing off my look I wantedย to add a little sex appeal by wear a simple drop chain necklace.

Today’s Look: Embroidered Motor Jacket & Over the Knee Leather Boots

Hey Pigsters! Thanks for viewing my very first blog post, woohoo! My blog was originally supposed to be published over this past summer, however I didn’t like how it was really turning out nor had the time to be fully committed due to school and work. (Ugh college is stressful, lol) I’m a beginner at blogging so, ย I don’t own my own domain yet and I’m taking pictures using my camera phone which is getting me by so bare with me, teehee! ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyways I hope everyone had a FABULOUSย Christmas as much as I did especially since I gifted myself with an embroidered floral motor jacket from Forever 21! Yes, dahlings there is nothing wrong with spoiling yourself! (in my Mariah Carey voice) Embroidery designs on clothing is definitely trending for the winter. I’ve mainly seen embroidery printing in bomber jackets, satin shirt dresses, and denim wear, but I’m predicting embroidered design trends will flow into the Spring of 2017. How I’ve decided to rock my new motor jacket was byย pairing it with a thin white cowl collar sweater, light wash denim jeans, and to balance out the leather I wore my leather over the knee boots! A great thing about these over the knee boots is that they don’t slide down which I’ve had a problem with some of my boots doing that in the past, and yes it’s quite annoying dropping it like it’s hot every five stepsย just to pull up your boots. These boots on the other hand stay over the knee where they should be therefor no more dropping it like it’s hot in the middle of the streets only strutting! ๐Ÿ™‚
